We had such a lovely gastronomic experience in Helsinki that I have to write a separate post about it. Looking for a lunch place on Sunday we found little Fleuriste, a café and a flower shop in one:
The place is so cute with beautiful details, lovely personnel and the sweetest dog:
I opted for brunch and it was amazing. The culinary feast began with organic yoghurt with fruit and ecological apple juice:
Then it was time for a chanterelle pie. The pie itself was delicious, but the beet root… It had been marinated in balsamic vinegar and was served with pine kernels and it was out of this world. Even the salad had an outstanding taste (see last photo).
A hot beverage was also included in the brunch, I opted for a hot chocolate and well, have a look for yourself:
And what is brunch without something sweet? There were many different cakes to choose from, even a flour-free cake, and they all looked to die for. I had chocolate cake and it was wonderful:
You can find Fleuriste on Uudenmaankatu 13 in Helsinki, go there and have lunch or a cappuccino and a piece of cake, or even some flowers. You will not regret it!
